Doctors

		Dr. I. Elizabeth Borgmann - Dr. Borgmann has been practicing in the Fraser Valley for over 11 years and decided to open her own practice, Whatcom Road Veterinary Hospital. A graduate of 1994, veterinary medicine is her second career after working for the National Research Council in Gene Technology.

		Dr. Ken Macquisten - Dr. Macquisten has been a practicing veterinarian in the Fraser Valley since 1980, and was Abbotsford's first full time small animal veterinarian. In addition to domestic pets, Dr. Macquisten has a keen interest in wildlife medicine & surgery, and shares his time as Director of the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife.

Staff

		Jennifer - Office Manager. Jen has worked with Dr. Borgmann for nearly 10 years. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program in 1999 and is currently working towards her CGA designation.

		Celine - Office Supervisor. Celine has worked in the veterinary field in one form or other since 1993. She has 2 years of Veterinary Technician training and is driven by her passion for animals.

		Natalie - Veterinary Assistant. Natalie graduated from the Veterinary Assistant Program in 2008. She is working towards becoming an Animal Health Technologist.

		Jenny - Veterinary Assistant. Jenny graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program in 2004. She is also a course instructor for the Veterinary Assistant program at West Coast College of Health Care and shares her time with the SPCA.

		Misty - Veterinary Assistant. Misty is currently enrolled in the Animal Health Technologist program.

		Esther - Veterinary Assistant. Esther has been working in the veterinary field for 7 years. She currently helps the SPCA by fostering dogs & orphan kittens.

		Shelley - Receptionist. Shelley excels at customer relations and is a valuable member of our team.

		Fran - Receptionist. Fran has worked for many years at the hospital as a medical technologist in the labs. She joins us on a part time basis because of her love of animals.
